Interiors
The grandmother of design magazines, Interiors survived two
world wars and the depression, but couldn't survive as part
of a trade magazine conglomerate. VNU folded the magazine
in 2001, putting several excellent editors on the street,
and abandoning a great legacy. Very sad. I wrote an article
for the final issue, although I didn't know it would be such
at the time.
“Fired Sale”
May 2001 - The good news about the Nasdaq crash is cheap secondhand
furniture.
